Dr Dioszeghy trained in Budapest and graduated in 1992 from the Semmelweis University. He completed his specialist training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care and worked as an Associate Professor in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care at Semmelweis University until 2003. During this time he also gained further specialist training and completed his Board Exams in Cardiology in 2001.
His main field of interest has always been Critical and Emergency Care and he opted to do further training in Emergency Medicine (and pre-hospital emergency medicine) for which he passed his specialist exams in 2004.
He completed his PhD thesis in 2010 in the field of “Cardiology in Intensive Care – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation”. He has been working in the NHS as a substantive consultant since 2005 and has fellowship of the College of Emergency Medicine (FCEM), fellowship of European Resuscitation Council (FERC) and fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FFICM).
After working in Yeovil District Hospital and at the North West London Hospitals NHS Trust he joined Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust in 2012 as a consultant in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care and is the deputy clinical lead for the Emergency Department.
