Dr Sian Griffith has been a consultant rheumatologist at SASH since 1997.  She is trust lead for osteoporosis and runs the bone density (DXA) service.  She does  general rheumatology clinics at East Surrey hospital, Caterham Dene hospital, Horsham hospital and Oxted Health Centre.

She qualified from Sheffield University in 1987 (MBChB). I became a member of the Royal College of Physicians in 1990 (MRCP) and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2002 (FRCP). Dr Griffith gained an MD from the University of Sheffield in 1996 for my thesis “Evaluating an Electronic Healthcare Record for Rheumatology”. She was awarded the certificate of achievement for DXA reporting for clinicians from Derby University in 2012.
