Dr Zachariah was appointed as consultant endocrinologist in May 2008, after completing specialist registrar training in the London and KSS deanery.
He did a period of research in insulin related weight gain. Presently Dr Zachariah part of a dynamic diabetes and endocrine unit having three full-time consultants.
Dr Zachariah works in endocrine, diabetes and joint antenatal clinics and closely with endocrine surgeons. Other roles in hospital include Foundation Year 1 Doctors training Programme Director.
