Dr Simon Parrington is a consultant anaesthetist at SASH who graduated from Guys Kings and St Thomas` Hospitals University of London with distinction in clinical subjects following a previous degree in dentistry from Kings.
His anaesthetic training was on the South West Thames rotation and included experience at St George’s Hospital London and a fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia at the Toronto Western Hospital in Canada in 2009.
Dr Parrington has been a consultant anaesthetist at East Surrey Hospital since 2010, and is currently the anaesthetic lead for trauma. He has an ongoing clinical and research interest in regional anaesthesia, enhanced recovery programs and has clinical sessions in pre-assessment, trauma, upper gastro-intestinal surgery, ENT, ophthalmology and emergency theatre.
