Dr Phongsathorn is a consultant physician in medicine for the elderly. He was appointed as a consultant of the Trust in 1991.
He qualified in medicine at Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand. His postgraduate training was undertaken in the UK. His registrar and senior registrar posts were at Lister Hospital, Hertfordshire, and at the Whittington Hospital, London.
His qualifications are BSc (Hons), MB(Hons) and FRCP.
