Dr Wilde has been a consultant respiratory physician at SASH since Feb 2010. He deals with patients with all aspects of respiratory and general medical problems.
He is responsible for inpatients on Tilgate and Tandridge wards and undertakes weekly clinics at East Surrey and Crawley hospitals. He has a fortnightly bronchoscopy list.
Dr Wilde trained at St Barthlomews hospital and completed specialist training at St Georges Hospital.
Dr Wilde has a specialist interest in breathlessness, respiratory failure, thromboembolic disease and has developed a tertiary referral service in Pulmonary Hypertension in association with the Royal Brompton Hospital. He attends the Royal Brompton and St Georges and is an Honorary Respiratory Consultant at these hospitals. He also retains an academic interest.
He is the trust lead for thromboprophylaxis.
