At SASH we are continuously striving to improve the experience of our patients and visitors.
Feedback is important to us as it gives us an opportunity to identify areas for improvement. When you contact the Trust to give feedback or make a complaint we will listen to your experience and will look for learning and action that we can take to improve things for the future.

“As someone with Alchalasia and having food stuck for 5 days and not being able to eat solids - finally went to A&E. How pleased I was - the doctor in Acute Medical Unit was exceptional and very understanding, another was the most gentle understanding Consultant Gastroenterologist I've seen who 'fitted me in' on his very tight schedule to do an emergency Endoscopy. The nursing staff were very comforting, professional and gregarious considering their workload. A very uplifting experience , very proud of my NHS and its staff.”
“I went to A&E at East Surrey hospital last Thursday with severe chest pain and ended up staying on AMU overnight. Every member of staff I came into contact with - doctors, nurses, tea ladies, catering staff, cleaners, everyone - was wonderful. I received great reassurance and excellent treatment from all.”
"GK was rushed in to East Surrey again from Horsham. Having problems with his breathing , he was taken in to resus and was looked after so wonderfully by all the DR and Nurses , and Once again they saved his life. I would just like to say how fantastic they are and would like them to know how pleased we are with the care that he has and is still getting in East Surrey. All the staff are amazing."
