Mr Swinn is a consultant urological surgeon with an interest in bladder cancer and lower urinary tract dysfunction. He trained to be a doctor at University College London and qualified in 1991.

After becoming a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1996, he then studied at London University for two higher degrees – an MSc and an MD. He completed specialist higher surgical training in urology in West London finishing with a year’s Fellowship in Australia in 2003.

He was appointed consultant urological surgeon at SASH in 2004 and currently also works part of the week at The Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford.
