Dr Rashid Iqbal is a Consultant Intentional Cardiologist at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and St George's University Hospitals since 2008. He has extensive cardiovascular training with primary interest in complex coronary intervention and stenting procedures in the treatment of coronary heart disease and its prevention.

Dr Iqbal does interventional sessions at East Surrey and St George's Hospitals. Dr Iqbal has extensive experience in management of general cardiological issues as well including treatment of high blood pressure, management of elevated cholesterol, various cardiac arrhythmias and insertion of cardiac pacemakers.

He also runs various clinics at East Surrey Hospital including rapid access chest pain and one stop cardiology clinics for specialist and general cardiological problems.
