CCT in General Paediatrics in 2004. Training in Paediatric diabetes at Guy’s and St Thomas Hospital and Lewisham Hospital. MBBS (Gold Medallist) 1992, MD (Paediatrics) 1996, MRPCH 2003.
Dr Jain is a Consultant Paediatrician with Special interest in Paediatric Diabetes at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust since 2009. She is Lead for the Children's Assessment Unit and leads for Paediatric A&E Liaison.
Dr Jain has a special interest in Pump therapy for type 1 diabetes patients. Nearly 45% of the children within the service use Insulin Pumps. She started structured education sessions for families of children with diabetes. She is currently the trust lead for a multicentre research project comparing the efficacy of Insulin pumps and MDI’s in newly diagnosed type 1 diabetics.
