Dr Lamb has been a consultant anaesthetist at SASH since September 1998. She deals with patients requiring anaesthetic and critical care services. She shares responsibility with her consultant colleagues for patients in the intensive care and high dependency units.

Her specialism is anaesthesia for major orthopaedics surgery such as joint replacements and spinal surgery as well as caring for critically ill patients.

She attended St George’s Hospital Medical School in South London and completed her anaesthetic training on the South Thames (West) Specialist Registrar Anaesthetic Rotation which is also based at St George’s.

Her interests also include education and training of all types of health care professionals, resuscitation and blood transfusion practice.
