Dr Rafferty has been a consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care at SASH since June 2002.
She anaesthetises mainly for patients undergoing urology procedures working with Professor Rane OBE.
She is also the chief for education with responsibility for managing the postgraduate training of all medical, dental and pharmacy trainees in the Trust.
She trained in Newcastle and then Cheltenham, Oxford, St Bartholomew’s and St George’s Hospitals with rotations around hospitals around North East London.
