Welcome to the joint school page
We are based at East Surrey Hospital in the Therapy Department. Joint school is a service offered to people who are waiting to have their hip and knee replacement surgery. The aim of the Joint school is to help you prepare for your surgery and to reduce some of the worries you may have around your surgery and recovery. It’s also an opportunity to discuss with a health professional about any personal rehabilitation concerns you may have.
Joint school takes place every Tuesday for hip replacements and Wednesday for knee replacements in the Physiotherapy department gym (located in green zone) from 2pm till 3pm.
Joint school is accessible via appointment only.
