Welcome to Surrey and Sussex Healthcare

NHS Trust

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust provides emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of east Surrey, north-east West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill. At East Surrey Hospital, Redhill we have 697 beds and provide acute and complex services. In addition, we provide a range of outpatient, diagnostic and less complex planned services at The Earlswood Centre, Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre, in Surrey, and at Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex.

Please note
Please be advised if visiting East Surrey Hospital today (Monday 17 February 2020) that due to the continued wet weather conditions one of the patient and visitor car parks (by the golf course) is flooded. We advise you to plan your journey in advance and/or where possible to use public transport. Thank you.

Please note
SASH is urging the public to think before going to A&E this winter. There are a range of local NHS healthcare services available, so that minor conditions, such as coughs and colds can be managed safely and effectively at home or with advice from a pharmacist. Minor Injuries units treat most injuries that are urgent but not life threatening, for example sprains, broken bones and minor burns. Anyone who does not have a life-threatening illness or injury is asked to make an appointment with their GP. Or, if their GP practice is closed call NHS 111 for free, 24 hours a day. Thank you.

Please note
Please note: There is restricted access to Tandridge ward due to an outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting (norovirus). In order to prevent further spread, we would advise that you do not visit at the current time. Please do not visit patients if you have had diarrhoea or vomiting symptoms in the last 48 hours. We restrict visiting to stop the spread of infections. Thank you for your cooperation. Please visit our ward information page for contact information.
