Dr Chandra Prajapati , MBBS, FRCP, FRCPI
Dr Chandra Prajapati joined Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust as a consultant physician in general and elderly medicine in 1997. He trained in general and elderly medicine for which he holds dual accreditation, as well as had training in diabetes and endocrinology.
His special clinical interests include, diabetes and endocrine disorders, Parkinson's disease, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative diseases.
He is an examiner for Royal College of Physicians and also a host examiner for Royal College of Physicians for MRCP PACES examination held at East Surrey Hospital. Dr Prajapati has an active commitment to education and training and is education and audit lead for the department.
He runs clinics at East Surrey Hospital and Caterham Dene Hospital which includes specialist clinics for Parkinson’s Disease and movement disorders and diabetes and endocrine clinic for the elderly.
He is the dementia lead at the Trust.
