Who are you?
My Name is Emma North and I am digital transformation specialist. I'm working as a change and adoption lead as part of the eSASH project for critical care, theatres and anaesthetics.
Summarise your role.
At the moment I am part of the eSASH team. My role is to support teams with the development and implementation of our new electronic patient record, which will go live in September. Currently, I am conducting model bed space sessions with our clinical staff to get ready for our new digital hospital and providing reassurance.
What do you find rewarding?
I find it really exciting to see the improvements that digital working can bring to both patient safety and streamlining our current processes.
What do you find challenging about your role?
At the moment, knowing that we only have a few weeks before go live!
What do you enjoy outside of work?
I enjoy reading, camping and watching live music. I am really looking forward to the Surrey and Sussex Thank You event!
