Meeting a... Complaints Governance Administrator

Nate.png

Who are you: Natish Moty.

Summarise your role: I work closely with the Divisional Governance Teams, PALS and Corporate Teams to help improve patient experience and triage complaints to be handled by the appropriate Divisional Team. My role is to be the point of contact for each team and PALS to help our visitors, carers and patients with any concerns or complaint they may have.

What do you find challenging about your role: The most challenging part of my role can sometimes be the complexity of a case, which can then cause delay to other cases, for example, dealing with external Trusts or MPs looking for responses to meet their deadlines.

What do you find rewarding: I enjoy speaking to patients who provide us with the feedback to improve our teams, departments, and Trust. This also helps establish an open connection between the Trust and the public.

What do you enjoy outside of work: I am currently coaching and I’m a personal trainer outside the Trust for boxing.

As a coach/athlete I train at least three times a week minimum to be able to keep fit and help others. I have been boxing for 10 years - fitness has been a major part of my life since my childhood I always strive to keep fit whether it is running, swimming or hiking.
