GP advisory service

A GP advisory service is run at both East Surrey Hospital and Crawley Hospital.

Surrey patients

To discuss an elderly patient living in Surrey, or to book them onto an urgent outpatient clinic, GPs can call East Surrey Hospital on 01737 768 511 and ask for the Medicine for the Elderly GP Advice Line. The on-call consultant carries a bleep.

Sussex patients

For elderly patients in Sussex, GPs can have direct access to advice by calling the CRUMPS (Crawley Rehabilitation Unit Mobile Physician Service) hotline which is manned from 9am to 5pm daily.
