The ENT department is based at East Surrey Hospital and offers a comprehensive service to patients within the SASH geographical area with ear, nose and throat conditions.
More than 11,000 patients a year are treated by the team which includes five consultants and 4 specialty doctors. Emphasis is on the less invasive forms of surgery such as endoscopic sinus surgery, endoscopic pharyngeal pouch stapling and laser treatment for lesions of the tongue or larynx.
