An electroencephalogram (EEG) is a recording of brain activity. The EEG machine used at SASH is located near Tandridge Ward at East Surrey Hospital. Please refer to your appointment letter for more information.
Dr Hamid Modarres, neurophysiologist from St George’s Hospital, Tooting, visits on Friday afternoons to assess the recordings with Dr Jeremy Kimberly.
Throughout the week SASH technicians send the recordings electronically to St George’s for review.
