On Wednesday 31 October between 4.30-8pm, Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust will host a health and social care careers event for students aged 12 to 18, to promote the range of careers and pathways available to them.
If you are a student in year eight and above come along and talk to practitioners about their job, have a go activities including restart a heart, see presentations, visit the simulation suite and find out about career pathways including apprenticeships.
Information and advice will be available on a wide range of careers including:
- Dentistry
- Decontamination science
- Dietetics
- Medicine
- Microbiology
- Midwifery
- Nursing
- Occupational therapy
- Speech and language therapy –
- Paramedic science
- Pharmacy
- Physiotherapy
Information will also be available on non clinical roles including business administration.
This event is open to students, parents and teachers. If you would like to attend the event, please complete the student registration form and email it to careersevents@hee.nhs.uk.
