Patient Survey Update
Since January 1st 2010 SASH has 19 handheld real time monitoring devices and a further three kiosk devices.
The three stand-up kiosk devices are situated in the Emergency Department, East Surrey Outpatients and Crawley Outpatients.
The 19 hand-held devices are known as tablets. Of these, 17 are at East Surrey Hospital. The other two are on Comet Ward and in the Day Surgery Unit at Crawley.
All our wards now have them continually each month with the exception of Brook / Woodland wards and Abinger / Capel wards.
These wards share two devices and have these on alternate months; patients can expect to take part in the surveys bi-monthly.
The results are downloaded each month and the Ward Managers and Matrons for their areas draw up action plans from the results gathered.
