Norma Christison, Non Executive DirectorNorma has worked in the NHS for over 26 years, and spent a further seven years in regulation. She was recruited to SASH to enhance the clinical and regulatory expertise on the Trust Board.
She spent about half of her NHS career in clinical roles and half in management roles, building up special interest and expertise in a number of areas including service redesign, change management, commissioning, cardio-vascular disease, post-natal depression, safeguarding and Public Health.
Time spent in regulation means that Norma is keenly aware of the practice and principles that must be followed to provide services that are efficient and demonstrate value for money.
Norma has worked in consultancy since 2010.
