Publication Scheme

Under Section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has a legal duty to adopt and maintain a Publication Scheme for the publication of Trust information.

Our Publication Scheme

Our Publication Scheme supports our commitment to greater openness and transparency by acting as a guide to the information we routinely publish and how you can access it. 

We review our Scheme regularly and monitor how it is operating.

We have a commitment to:

  1. Proactively publish information, which is held by our Trust and falls within the classifications below.
  2. Specify the information which is held by our Trust.
  3. Proactively publish information in line with the statements contained within the scheme.
  4. Produce and publish the methods by which the information is made available, so that it is easily identified and accessed by the public.
  5. Review and update on a regular basis.
  6. Produce a schedule of fees charged for access to the information.
  7. Make this publication scheme available to the public.

The information we provide is divided into broad categories, known as Classes of Information.
