How to make a donation to the hospital

Information for patients and their relatives

Who we are

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust provides emergency and more complex health services from East Surrey Hospital and also provides a range of outpatient, diagnostice and less complex planned services from Crawley, Dorking, Caterham Dene, Horsham and Queen Victoria Hospitals and Oxted Health Centre.

The Trust runs a separate registered charity that manages any donations made to the Trust.

The charity is managed by a Charitable Funds Committee, which is responsible for ensuring tha donations given to the hospital are spent wisely and properly, in accordance with The Charities Commission and NHS regulations.

Why your donations are important

All healthcare services are funded from central government and the Trust endeavours to rpovide the highest level of service to its patients. However, voluntary donations can really help us provide a little bit extra such as additional medical equipment, medical research, specialist training and improvements to patient facilities. We often receive donations from grateful patients and/or relatives as they leave after treatment.

Your contribution really does make a difference
